The much awaited State and Local Search Engine is available for use.
You will find a link at the bottom of most pages.
Pick a word, any word or phrase, or number and enter it in the box. Spelling is important. Case does not matter. Some very common and short words are ignored. Press the enter key. The search does not currently support boolean operations (AND, OR, NOT, etc). We expect to add this shortly. Boolean words will be dropped and converted to a phrase. For example:
office and chair
office chairThis may or may not be what you want. If you try out the above example, you should see a display of matching messages with context. Click on the underlined link to see a representation of the message. Because the page may have been a word document, a web page, a pdf file, or some other type of file, it is only a representation. There is a link to the original page near the top of the message.
CAVEAT: The original page is hosted by someone other than Simplix. We have no control of your ability to access the page or know anything more about it. Do not call us for explanation of what is in the page. We do not know anything more regarding the item, buyer, site rules, award status, and your ability to access the original page than you do.If you receive a page that is illegible or not available that is a Simplix page (i.e. the link is http://www.simplix.com/.....), please use the send Email to Simplix link at the bottom of the page to send us the question. Please do not phone us with questions about this service; the State and Local Search Engine is still in the testing stage and phone support is not available at this time. We have attempted to provide links with contact information for the site and other useful information at the top of the page. If you have questions about the items then you should contact the site.
You can limit your search by geography, only bids or awards, only pages that have been first pulled or changed within a date range, or by type of entity.
Several improvements are being planned or are being considered. These include:The Federal Search is currently using a different search engine. We are planning on integrating the two engines in the future. In the interim, wil will add a link so that you can search the other database with the same phrase.
