Several improvements have been made to Simplix-W. These improvements include:
The DLA RFQs for the EBBs will be changing to a
new UTN scheme. This scheme will reference the YP
requisition number as the UTN. This addition will allow
us to send the award information to you also. So instead
of seeing SP0400 you will now see YPG. Similarly,
Defense Industrial Supply will have YPI and Defense Construction
Supply will have YPC.
CCR has formally slipped the 3/31/98 registration
requirement to 6/1/98.
We are adding additional fields to the DLA bid screens
to support all of the fields on the EBB.
We believe we are ready to support the Navy's migration
to 3050 which is scheduled for 4/1/98.
New Reports on Simplix Page:
Public Message Profile Report. This shows all of your current
settings for profiling in one easy place.
EDI Addressing and Corporate Information. This shows all of
your EDI addressing and useful corporate information in
one place. This page may be handy for faxing to agencies
who request EDI information.
Don't forget to consider adding yourself to the DLA EMALL
project. Open to all commercial items and being EDI capable gives
you a significant leg up on your competition.
What keywords am I matching on? Now you can see them.
A new option on the client options page shows you what keywords
match in a given message. If you are doing email delivery you
will need to load the page from the link to see this information.
Simplix now has Q, X, and T quotes on line and you can bid them
via Simplix-W for the DLA.
If you have questions about any of this send email from
your client account home page.
Sincerely,
George Chisa,
Simplix
